Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an HVAC Technician for a maintenance role in Pass Christian, MS. The position involves assembling, installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Non-exempt role; reports to the Foreman. Certifications and drug/alcohol screening may be required; safety and client site requirements must be followed. Turner Industries offers a range of health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of experience in the specified skill (depending on mechanic level).
• Advanced knowledge of industrial/commercial HVAC systems.
• Advanced skill with HVAC diagnostic tools.
• Most sites will require HVAC certification.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; read drawings to visualize installations.
• Install, service, and repair HVAC equipment and components.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Disassemble/assemble parts and use appropriate tools.
• Locate pipe/duct connections and prepare openings in walls/floors.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
