Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced HVAC Tech for a on-site role in Painesville, OH. The technician will assemble, install, service and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units in homes, schools, commercial, and industrial buildings.

The job requires HVAC certification from a technical school, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a minimum of 5 years of field experience with HVAC troubleshooting and 2 years industrial field experience. Petrochemical exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

HVAC certification from a technical school required.
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
Minimum 5 years field experience with HVAC troubleshooting.
Minimum 2 years industrial field experience.
Petrochemical experience a plus.
Experience installing/troubleshooting/repairing RTUs, MAUs, AHUs, heat pumps, and chillers.
Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC controls.
Niagara experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns and test parts with appropriate instruments.
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble HVAC components and control panels.
Install and maintain HVAC units, ductwork, and piping according to plans.
Work from drawings, cut openings, and connect power and controls.
Ensure safe operation and compliance with procedures and standards.
