Job summary

ES Foundry Corp in Greenwood, SC seeks an HVAC Technician to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and cleanroom environmental systems supporting photovoltaic manufacturing. You will work with facilities, engineering, and production teams to ensure uptime, temperature/humidity control, and air quality in demanding manufacturing environments.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, EPA 608 certification, and experience with BAS platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical HVAC training preferred.
• 2–4 years hands-on HVAC maintenance/repair experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required or ability to obtain within a defined period.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on HVAC and refrigeration equipment (air handlers, rooftops, chillers, pumps, etc.).
• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, air quality) and respond to alarms.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair HVAC system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance, facilities, and outside contractors to support facility needs.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and work orders.
