Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Employee to ensure reliable operation of facility HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document work in CMMS, and manage refrigerant activities in ERA.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment histories, and coordination with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime while following safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, proactive, and corrective HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to document refrigerant usage and maintenance in ERA/CMMS.
• Strong safety awareness and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and system optimization.
• Maintain HVAC systems: chillers, AHUs, RTUs, boilers, pumps, and BAS controls.
• Create, update, and close work orders in CMMS; document labor and parts.
• Record refrigerant activity in ERA; conduct leak detection and repairs as required.
• Coordinate with teams to minimize downtime and document status across shifts.
• Read manuals, schematics, P&IDs, and electrical diagrams; diagnose issues with tools.
