Job summary

The Hunton Group seeks an Industrial HVAC Technician to service commercial and industrial A/C systems in the Greater Houston area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, focusing on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with package units, split systems, wall-mount units, and mini-splits, plus EPA refrigerant certification and a Texas driver’s license. Local travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing Trane or comparable industrial HVAC systems.
  • EPA refrigerant certification required.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record; TWIC card obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial A/C equipment including coil cleaning, belt and filter changes, system logging and inspection.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system issues related to mechanical failure, airflow, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Repair/replace motors, compressors, bearings; perform system change-outs as needed.
  • Start up and shut down HVAC systems per customer schedules and job requirements.
  • Deliver accurate logs and written reports to internal teams and customers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships with clear, professional communication and reliable service.

DescriptionHunton Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team, servicing customers in and around the Greater Houston, TX area to include Brazoria County (Angleton, Clute, Freeport, Lake Jackson). This role is ideal for a technician who has hands-on expertise with package units, split systems, wall-mount units, and mini-splits.
