Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience, or 3 years in a heavy industrial setting.
• Understanding of Refrigeration and HVAC systems theories.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of regular business hours for emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install HVAC and Electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems.

Skills

Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practices

Technical training in HVAC

Ability to communicate effectively

In-depth understanding of machinery and maintenance techniques

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred

What Youll Do

• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and chillers
• Install HVAC and Electrical equipment
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practices
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant and equipment HVAC systems: chillers, split units, package and appliance refrigeration systems
• Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in HVAC systems, including identifying and replacing faulty parts, and addressing refrigerant leaks
• Ability and willingness to work outside of regular business hours for emergency repairs
• Ability to work with minimal supervision required
• Performs other duties as assigned

What Youll Need

• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practices
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience, or 3 years in a heavy industrial setting
• Technical training in the HVAC field
• Understanding of Refrigeration and HVAC systems theories
• Ability to communicate effectively with appropriate departments/individuals
• Technical skills: in depth understanding of machinery and maintenance techniques, ability to read blueprints and schematics
