InServ, Charlotte-based employer, is seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate, install, and maintain sheet metal components for industrial HVAC systems. You will read drawings, fit ducts, ensure sealing and insulation, and support projects on-site.

The role emphasizes safety, on-time completion, collaboration with project managers and engineers, and meticulous documentation of materials and work performed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending, welding, soldering).
• Strong understanding of industrial HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for on-site collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate and shape sheet metal components per drawings.
• Install and assemble ductwork, exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot ductwork and airflow.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain safety compliance and document work and material usage.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the company and clients.
