Remington in Lewiston, ID is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems per blueprints and codes.

Requires journeyman license, Idaho gas fitter licenses, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to obtain forklift and SCBA qualifications. Compensation starts at a $46.57 hourly rate with shifts including days, swing, and weekends; comprehensive benefits follow.

Competenze

• HVAC Journeyman license required with 5+ years of experience.
• Idaho Gas Fitter Class I and II licenses are required.
• EPA Refrigerant license Type 608 (universal) required.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of assignment.
• SCBA qualification eligibility required.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.

• Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and related systems per blueprints and codes.
• Determine equipment location, size, capacity, and control requirements to meet project needs.
• Inspect facilities to size ducts and develop layouts for systems and controls.
• Prepare estimates, bids, and material/equipment recommendations.
• Identify new suppliers and evaluate options for projects.
• Connect system components with proper piping and installation methods.
• Purge, charge, test, and verify system integrity and operation; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain safe operation and dispose of refrigerants per regulations.
• Assist with moves, welding, fabrication, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
