Qualifications

• Must be willing to work on an off shift (2nd, 3rd, Weekend).
• High school education required, with HVAC experience preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatics, heat exchangers, and electrical systems.
• Work from verbal and written orders to service equipment.

Job Purpose

Responsible to perform installation, moving, maintenance, repair, renovating and replacement operations for all heating, air conditioning, ventilating, refrigeration, telephones and telephone computer system and equipment throughout the complex.

Key Responsibilities

• The HVAC Mechanic is required to perform; moving, installing, replacement, repairing, maintenance, programming and upgrading of: Honeywell Energy Management, telephone, inverters, refrigeration, heating and other HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair of pneumatics, heat exchangers, electrical, mechanical, ventilation, and electronic systems.
• Understanding of relay logic, analog and digital circuitry, programmable controller language, with the proper set up, operation and reading of a variety of diagnostic instruments to perform duties.
• Working from verbal, written orders; service HVAC and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose, teardown, repair, refurbish, install, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems to complete assignment.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Journeyman Electrician (NY State Certified Program) Preferred or 2+ years Industrial HVAC Experience or 2 year trade school program completion
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) preferred
• Machine/Electronic Troubleshooting
• Expertise in Wiring
• Solid Understanding of High Voltage Applications
• Must be willing to work on an off shift (2nd, 3rd, Weekend)
