Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial systems, including large packaging units, VAVs, VRF/VRV, boilers, cooling towers, and pumps.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Proficiency with rotating equipment and alignment techniques.
Ability to work independently and handle complex systems.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and maintain HVAC equipment including large and small split systems, packaged units, air handling units, mini-splits, VAV systems, exhaust fans and ventilation, water-source heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, cooling towers and pumps.
Perform major mechanical repairs including replacement of large motors and compressors, bearing replacement, laser alignment of pumps and rotating equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and improve system efficiency.
Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions or upgrades.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance actions accurately.
Participate in department meetings as requested
