Job summary

Tredegar Surface Protection seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead site HS&E processes and policies, champion safety improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance for the manufacturing facility. The role involves audits, hazard recognition, training, and interaction with HR and engineering to integrate safety into projects.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of related experience, ISO system experience, and relevant certifications (CSM/CSP a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5-8 years relevant experience in a related area preferred.
• Leadership or management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Required demonstrated implementation of safety and environmental systems such as ISO.
• CSM – Certified Safety Manager or CSP – Certified Safety Professional a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site Health, Safety & Environmental processes and systems for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Administer safety processes to ensure safety performance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor safety compliance with corporate policy and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and maintain environmental records.
• Coordinate safety training activities and present training and business presentations.
