Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower in Orange Park, FL is seeking an Industrial Hose Department Teammate to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You will learn hose assembly components, read tape measures, and safely operate shop tools and forklifts to support inventory and order fulfillment.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work with PPE in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in warehouse or industrial setting is beneficial.
• Forklift certification a plus or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Attain and improve knowledge of hose assembly components and specs.
• Correctly read a tape measure.
• Read and understand shop paperwork, including schematics.
• Read and understand SOPs to manufacture hose assemblies.
• Safely operate all Industrial Hose Department tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Safely operate forklifts.
• Use the TWL system to pull products and maintain inventory integrity.
• Work with other departments involved in procurement and orders.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations.

The Industrial Hose Department Teammate at Bridgestone HosePower is responsible for ensuring the safe manufacturing of various industrial hose assemblies for our customers and branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Attain and improve knowledge of various hose assembly components, their names, their functions, and specifications.
• Correctly read a tape measure.
• Read and understand shop paperwork, including schematics.
• Read and understand standard operating procedures to correctly manufacture hose assemblies.
• Safely operate all Industrial Hose Department tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Safely operate forklifts.
• Use the TWL system to pull products and maintain inventory integrity.
• Work effectively with other departments involved in product procurement and placing orders.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations.
