Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer for an onsite role in Mayfield Heights, OH. You will contribute across the hardware development lifecycle, from circuit design to verification and documentation, in a collaborative Agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on hardware product development experience.
• Experience with electronic design capture tools and reading schematics.
• Strong circuit theory knowledge including analog/digital design and power conversion.
• Hands-on experience with hardware test and debugging equipment.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automated testing and workflows.
• Experience in scaled Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (IEC 61508) and EMC (IEC 61000).
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and communication skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to expand technical ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware architectures for industrial automation products.
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot electronic hardware prototypes.
• Interpret electrical schematics, circuit designs, and documentation.
• Develop design documentation, specifications, and test reports.
• Support investigations into new technologies, tools, and hardware failures.
• Apply circuit theory to resolve design and performance issues.
• Develop test automation, hardware simulation, and validation solutions.
• Use Python and/or C++ to improve hardware testing workflows.
• Perform hands-on hardware testing with oscilloscopes and debuggers.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams for end-to-end product development.
