Harrison Steel Castings Company is seeking Hand Grinders for 2nd shift to clean and remove excess material from castings using a 30-pound, 5-horsepower handheld straight grinder.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grinds all welds, seams, and high spots marked by the line inspector safely and efficiently using large hand grinders.
• Inspects equipment daily.
• Communicates to supervisor quality and equipment problems.
• Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Basic math & English reading skills
• Experience using an industrial grinder preferred
• Ability to solve simple problems
