Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a General Laborer to perform labor-intensive tasks in an industrial environment under supervision. Responsibilities include site preparation, tool handling, and assisting other crafts, with emphasis on safety and punctuality.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred but not required.
• Must pass drug screen and background check, as a condition of employment.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship by Austin Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure tools/equipment daily to prevent hazards.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures; notify Foreman or Safety personnel of issues.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Follow written and oral instructions and meet attendance schedules.
