Job summary

Eaton in Sherman, TX is seeking an Industrial Grinder for 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:00am–2:30pm). You will grind/polish metal, operate spot welders, run samples, and perform quality checks. Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Industrial Grinder- 1st Shift. The core hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $20.21 per hour.What you’ll do:Grind and polish metal.Use spot welding equipment, welds appropriate parts together based on specifications.Run samples and check product quality against prints.Adjust spot welder to properly weld material based on thickness and finish.Performs all quality checks, fill out daily activity reports, and enter time recording in SAP.Changes welding tips as necessary.Performs 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
