Ziegler Inc. is seeking an experienced Generator Technician turned Power Generation Support Specialist to guide technicians and resolve escalated issues, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.

This desk-based role emphasizes technical expertise over physical labor, with opportunities to support OEM communications and improve service delivery across our engine and generator platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical, operational, or service expertise with industrial engines or electrical power generation systems.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer initial customer calls from the technical support line and generate support tickets for the technical support staff.
• Resolve basic technical support requests from internal and external customers regarding Ziegler equipment.
• Research, evaluate, and solve more complicated issues with training from senior staff and OEM resources.
• Work collaboratively on a team.
• Develop product knowledge and resources on current and emerging products.
• Assist Parts personnel in locating hard-to-find parts when needed.
• Resolve daily customer support issues.
• Collaborate with team and superiors.
