Calumet Armature Electric is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily shop operations in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will assist with a variety of tasks, operate hand and power tools, and help with the disassembly/assembly of mechanical equipment.

• Physically able to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop and production duties as assigned
• Operate and safely use hand tools and power tools (grinders, drills, impact tools, etc.)
• Support disassembly and assembly of equipment such as motors and pumps
• Clean, prep, and organize parts for repair or rebuild
• Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety standards
• Assist with material handling including moving parts and staging materials
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Inspect tools and equipment for proper condition
• Support other departments to meet production goals
