Job summary

EXCEL Group is hiring a General Laborer for the Westlake Chemical Facility in Calvert City, KY. The role supports cell room maintenance in a demanding industrial setting and offers on-the-job training. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work in a Chemical Facility environment.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must pass Physical Screening, Drug Screening and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Replace faulty membranes, cells and hoses on 12 electrolyzers.
• Replace old cell gaskets and hose gaskets during shutdowns.
• Roll up and store used membranes for analysis.
• Clean gasket material from cells and steam and wash cells for maintenance or shipment to a repair facility in Houston, TX.
• Remove salt or caustic buildup on cells.
• Assist with additional labor tasks outside the cell room and in other process areas.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading materials and transporting drums to storage.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License

Ability to work in a chemical facility environment
