Job summary

At Work Cincy is hiring General Laborers for a galvanizing/metals facility in the Madisonville, OH area. This hands-on role offers training across warehouse areas with opportunities to move into machine operation and higher pay after training.

Position features third shift with overtime as needed; training on first shift is 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri for 3-4 weeks. Pay starts at $17/hr during training and $17.25/hr on third shift; transportation to site is preferred due to distance from nearest bus stop.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience required (rebar, steel, aluminum, fabrication manufacturing).
• Forklift experience is required; on-site assessment may be needed.
• Long-term reliability and minimal job changes preferred.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled, heavy industrial setting.
• Able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods; steel toe boots required.

Responsibilities

• Move finished metal product throughout the warehouse.
• Bundle, stack, and organize materials for shipment.
• Clean debris and excess material from finished product.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general shop support.
• Operate forklift when needed; must pass on-site training first (~3 weeks).
• Follow all safety procedures in an industrial environment.
