Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Plant Service Technician in Tampa, FL to diagnose, repair and maintain pumps, gas storage, and electrical systems related to gas handling. You will support filling processes, organize spare parts, and ensure safety compliance while providing technical support to plant operations.

Ideal candidates have experience with high-pressure gas systems, read technical drawings, and can lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-pressure gas systems and plant operations preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform calculations.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain pumps, storage systems, and electrical systems related to gas handling.
• Maintain and repair high/low-pressure pumps and gas systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical systems (motor controls, relays, alarms).
• Perform preventative maintenance on gas equipment; install and modify gas storage and delivery systems.
• Support filling processes and equipment maintenance.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Ensure safety compliance and follow company procedures.
• Provide technical support to plant operations.
• Operate forklifts and assist with general housekeeping.
