Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a hands-on role in Toledo, OH to process and inspect gas cylinders, perform fills, and manage warehouse transfers. You will operate scales, maintain quality records, and safely use a forklift to move product in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in plant/manufacturing environments, with a mechanical mindset and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in plant/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical background desired and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections for retesting or repairs via visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles, and product; fill as needed and load/unload from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and paperwork; log quantities, styles, and products in the system for inventory control.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
