GROUP-Industries in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Industrial Form Carpenter to design, construct, erect, install, and repair wood-formed structures on an outdoor industrial site. You will read blueprints, lay out forms, and assemble timber and concrete forms using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
This full-time, hourly role requires 3+ years in the field, NCCER Industrial Carpentry certification, and strict adherence to safety rules.
Must be able to design, construct, erect, install, and repair structures, fixtures and other items of wood, plywood, wallboard or other material using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric power tools.
The Industrial From Carpenter must have the knowledge and ability to build and set forms, read blueprints, perform advanced layout, build and set Symon forms, layout of anchor bolts, ability to use level instrument, ability to use transit, ability to tie rebar, able to read tape/ruler, set screeds, calculate material takeoffs from drawings, install batter boards, erect Symon forms, etc.
Field/Jobsite Environment – Climbing, standing, crawling, crouching, lifting, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to loud noises are to be expected on a jobsite environment.
This position is predominately outdoors at an Industrial Construction Site. Exposure to extreme hot or cold outside temperatures is possible.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Days and hours of work vary from each jobsite. Occasional evening/weekend work or travel may be required as job duties demand.
