Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in maritime or stevedoring contexts preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in clerical tasks, record keeping, and equipment operation.
• Must possess a valid TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy forklifts (8,000-50,000 lbs.), man lifts, and loaders with safety emphasis.
• Perform pre-job inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safety and performance.
• Assist with deck and warehouse operations to support cargo handling activities.
• Conduct quality inspections of cargoes and record production information per standards.
• Transload cargo to/from trucks, railcars, vessels, and barges following safety protocols.
• Participate in safety initiatives and follow company policies to maintain a safe environment.
