Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator to support the production of precast concrete products in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting. You will operate heavy equipment to move metal forms and concrete products and ensure safe, efficient operation on the plant floor and yard.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety procedures and accurate handling of loading, staging and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass internal forklift training program.
• At least one year of forklift experience moving weights of 20,000 lbs preferred.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Load, stage and yard finished goods in plant floor and outside yard.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flat beds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and delivery documents.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift.
• Strip and clean concrete forms and products.
• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete.
• Perform basic carpentry skills.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
