Job summary

OnLogic is seeking a Firmware Engineer to develop and sustain our industrial computing products, crafting ARM firmware and Linux device drivers, and supporting x86 UEFI work. You’ll collaborate with design teams and manufacturing through the full product lifecycle from concept to prototype and production.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in an onsite environment at our offices in Cary, NC or South Burlington, VT, requiring relocation or commuting as needed.

Qualifications

• It states 2+ years of firmware development experience, preferably with ARM SoCs in the industrial PC industry.
• Experience with embedded firmware and debugging using JTAG-based debuggers and logic analyzers.
• Strong background in C and Assembly, Linux familiarity, and ARM architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain firmware across ARM SoCs and MCUs.
• Port and develop Linux device drivers for ARM products.
• Support x86 UEFI customizations and collaborate with design teams.
• Work with manufacturing to build prototypes and validate firmware on samples.
