Job summary

Amada America, Inc. seeks a field service technician to install, service, and train customers on Amada Turret Punch Press and related equipment in the Kansas City, MO area.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, read drawings, and provide programming training and line control support. English communication is required; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is expected. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; a 4-year Electronics degree or 2-year related experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel within assigned territories; routine travel with possible overnight stays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with installation, service, training for Amada Turret Punch Press and related machines.
• Perform on-site programming, software training, and line control tasks.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Travel within assigned territories; communicate with customers in English.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to troubleshoot systems.
