Job summary

Danieli Corporation Ashland, KY Service Center is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform advisory services at customer sites and support equipment installations. The role requires travel up to 50–70% and strong technical and communication skills to work with customers and internal teams.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and timely reporting, with opportunities to develop skills through targeted training during-site visits and at customer locations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
• Solid technical knowledge and experience.
• Able to solve most technical issues with minimal direction.
• Able to communicate technical issues effectively to customers.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory field services.
• Use hand tools to dismantle, set up, measure and analyze guide systems.
• Maintain the design criteria established by Danieli design engineers.
• Discuss changes with Danieli management before suggesting changes.
• Control the work site to ensure safety and objective achievement.
• Identify level of drawings and work within the Danieli drawings system.
• Research drawings and data to resolve customer questions or issues.
• Work with MS Office software (Excel, Word, Project Management, Publish) for tasks and archiving.
• Evaluate site information and develop appropriate drawings and data.
• Maintain records of work.
• Submit timesheets, expenses and customer reports within 3 business days.
