Job summary

Adecco Staffing partners with a Woonsocket manufacturer to seek a hands-on Field Service Mechanical Technician who will install, troubleshoot, repair, and support industrial equipment at customer facilities.

This full-time, first-shift role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, independent working habits, and excellent customer-facing professionalism. Travel is 30–50% domestically, with pay between $70,000 and $80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment or manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and industrial control components.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly for domestic service assignments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, set up, and start up industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Provide on-site customer service and basic operation training.
• Complete service reports and communicate findings to internal teams.
