Job summary

Adecco Staffing, partnering with a Westerly, RI manufacturer, is seeking a field service technician to assemble and service large capital equipment. The role involves field installation, troubleshooting, and operator training at customer sites.

Expect 20%–50% travel, with domestic and international assignments, and a pay range of $50,000–$68,500 per year. This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Assemble machinery and subassemblies per drawings and specs.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment in shop and field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery and subassemblies per drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Drill, tap, ream, align, and secure machine components.
• Install moving parts and verify movement and alignment.
• Install hydraulic hoses per schematic and run conduit/wiring to specs.
• Test and assist in testing completed equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Travel domestically and internationally for installations and service calls.
