Job summary

Anchor Technical in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking an apprentice level Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance on package handling equipment in industrial settings.

You will follow OSHA safety practices, work independently or with a team, respond to field callouts, inspect and repair package handling systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work with clear reports. A high school diploma and willingness to travel/on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Complete pre-employment skills evaluation consistent with Field Service Technician I capabilities
• Ability to provide safe, courteous service to customers
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance trades
• Mechanical, electrical/control, pneumatic, and hydraulic operating knowledge
• Ability to detect faulty operation with the five senses

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety per OSHA standards in all tasks
• Work independently or with a team with initiative
• Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches
• Coordinate maintenance with customer representatives
• Repair equipment for package handling systems in industrial settings
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Generate service reports, timesheets, and parts lists
• Maintain organized work vehicle and tools
• Use test and calibration instruments, hand and power tools
