Job summary

OGI Process Equipment in Oklahoma is seeking a Service Technician to provide first-line technical support, install and service water bath heaters and industrial heaters, and troubleshoot with customers.

You will travel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a non-temperature-controlled shop environment while following safety rules and wearing PPE. This role requires a 2-year technical degree, 5 years field experience, PLC/electrical knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or vocational certificate preferred
• Minimum five years demonstrated experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of PLC programming and electrical concepts preferred
• Burner knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts product installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications/updates, and product trials
• Pretest units before shipment to ensure optimal operating performance
• Perform repairs and startups on water bath heaters and industrial heaters
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to customers and engineers
• Respond to customer inquiries with strong service orientation
• Schedule service jobs and coordinate with customers
• Troubleshoot over the phone with field operators
• Uphold safety policies and wear PPE in manufacturing environments
