Job summary

RC Talent is seeking an Industrial Service Engineer to support our client’s field service, equipment reliability, and product quality capabilities in the Greater Chicago area. The role involves working with local manufacturing, production, engineering, and service environments, with domestic travel to client sites as needed.

• 5+ years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or field service.
• Experience servicing industrial equipment and related components.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with field repair capability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment during production, inspection, or post-field return.
• Communicate customer issues and feedback between engineering, quality, and field teams.
• Investigate recurring equipment concerns to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair equipment.
