Job summary

SouthernCarlson is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who thrives in the field, builds strong customer relationships, and is motivated to drive growth in construction and industrial markets. This role emphasizes solution-oriented selling and providing fast, reliable service to contractors and manufacturers.

Expect to spend significant time in the field, manage and grow accounts, coordinate deliveries, and present tailored proposals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales or business development experience (construction or industrial supply preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of tools, fasteners, or jobsite supplies.
• Established industry network or strong ability to build one.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required).
