Job summary

ITW is seeking a Sales Associate to gain hands-on experience across distributor branches, industrial accounts, and regional sales. You will own a territory, execute field programs, and collaborate with sales and internal teams to drive product adoption and resolve customer problems.

The role emphasizes training delivery, product demonstrations, CRM discipline, and lead generation while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or technical support in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a field-based role.
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

Support distributor branches by managing merchandising programs, expediting orders, quoting, and onboarding new reps.
Deliver and co-lead product and program training for consumables and equipment.
Conduct onsite demonstrations and assist sales managers with opportunities.
Partner with channel managers to grow accounts and generate new business.
Generate and qualify leads with disciplined pipeline management and CRM updates.
Build professional skills including executive presence, storytelling, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
