Job summary

Milco National Constructors seeks a Field Engineer to support industrial tank and vessel projects in Homer City, PA. You will work with owners, engineers, and field teams to plan, estimate, and execute projects on site, with a development path toward project management.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, with 2+ years of construction experience, and are skilled in coordinating across disciplines and managing changing conditions in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Management with 2+ years of multidisciplinary construction experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years of similar construction experience in heavy industrial environments (pulp & paper, chemical, power, or heavy manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Interact with owners, engineers, and estimators to prepare, review, or validate project estimates, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Provide oversight of field activities to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality standards, schedule, and budgets.
• Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs, including ongoing owner operations and other construction activities.
• Monitor productivity and verify earned value for progress payments, updates, and contractor claims.
• Recognize and initiate key steps in the Change Order Management process.
• Update project schedules and generate status reports.
• Act as front-line technical liaison for Owner and Engineers. Provide technical analysis and recommendations to front line supervision.
