ResourceTek, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer – Industrial Facilities to lead on-site construction activities for a major facility expansion near Nashville, TN. You will collaborate with the Owner's engineering and project management teams and external vendors to deliver scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction management, project engineering, or Owner's Representative roles on large industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsabilités

• On-site supervision of construction per design specs and Owner's expectations.
• Quality control of construction activities and materials.
• Safety oversight and hazard mitigation on site.
• Schedule monitoring and corrective action implementation to stay on track.
• Cost control and review of contractor invoices.
• Issue resolution and coordination among Owner, contractors, and design team.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintain documentation: RFIs, daily reports, change orders, submittals, and as-built drawings.
• Risk management and mitigation recommendations.
