Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Warren, Ohio, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our 1.5 million-square-foot plant operating safely and efficiently. You’ll perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and utility systems, while supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a High-Performance Work System.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance and 3+ years in facilities maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• 12-hour rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Experience using CMMS software.
• Able to pass pre-employment assessments and background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility systems and building infrastructure.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, air handling, and related systems.
• Maintain building automation systems (BAS) and monitor energy efficiency.
• Complete work orders in CMMS and document activities accurately.
• Support installation and commissioning of new facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized maintenance or construction activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support emergency response efforts for facility-related issues.
