Plastipak Packaging, Inc in Newark, OH is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, and troubleshoot our site equipment and auxiliary systems in a food-grade facility.

You will perform preventive maintenance on chillers, pumps, water towers, air dryers, and transformers, monitor fire and access systems, and participate in installation projects. The role requires a day shift, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree and/or technical certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of auxiliary industrial equipment (chillers, compressors, water towers, pumps, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility auxiliary equipment (chillers, pumps, water towers, air dryers, transformers).
• Monitor fire systems, access systems, and emergency lighting.
• Perform general grounds maintenance.
• Participate in installation projects and/or modifications.
