Job summary

Olsson is seeking student interns for the Industrial Facilities Engineering and Design team to gain hands-on experience crafting construction documents and specifications. You will work with experienced staff to model mechanical systems in 3D, analyze pipe stresses, and assist with HVAC design work.

You’ll develop skills in Revit/AutoCAD, Excel, and coordination with architects and engineers, while contributing to projects like ethanol and greenfield designs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with interest in industrial facilities.
• Experience or coursework in HVAC design or thermodynamics is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IMC) is a plus.
