Olsson is seeking a summer student intern for our industrial team. You will contribute to real-world projects using Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3-D to develop construction documents and specifications.

This role offers hands-on collaboration with experienced engineers in a professional, award-winning environment. You will be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering and bring strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of Revit preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from Lincoln or Omaha locations.
• Create construction documents and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3-D.
• Support electrical design services including power distribution and lighting aspects.
• Assist engineers on cut sheets, calculations, and modeling tasks.
• Engage in hands-on, real-world work to complement classroom learning.
