Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Estimator to produce high-quality, detailed quotations based on plans, drawings, and specifications, performing precise takeoffs and identifying opportunities for MPI projects.

The role involves collaborating with Regional Sales Managers and 3rd party vendors to ensure accurate quotes and timely delivery, while maintaining strong attention to detail and effective communication across McWane divisions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, preferably in business, engineering, estimation or equivalent industry experience.
• Project management experience and proficiency with project management software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail and strong time management.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and blueprints to develop a takeoff of products for quotations.
• Review incoming plans, provide and communicate estimations and modifications across divisions.
• Create and track quotations for general contract reviews and meet customer deadlines.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers and vendors to obtain actuation and painting costs as needed.
