Job summary

BW Industrial Construction seeks a Project Estimator to support pre‑construction and planning for industrial projects, focusing on MEP systems and CSA scopes. You will perform quantity takeoffs, analyze drawings, prepare scope narratives, and collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate budgeting and well‑defined execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of estimating experience for a general contractor (required).
Experience with industrial, manufacturing, EPC, or heavy commercial environments preferred.
Strong proficiency in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, and GC-standard platforms.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specs, and plans to develop accurate estimates for industrial projects.
Perform detailed CSA and MEP quantity takeoffs including civil/site work, structural steel, architectural finishes, piping, electrical, and plumbing.
Coordinate with PMs, Engineers, Architects, and subcontractors to reflect project requirements and constructability.
Prepare bid proposals with alternates and value‑engineering options.
Maintain organized estimating files and historical pricing for audit-ready accuracy.
