Job summary

UMC is seeking an Industrial Estimator to develop competitive bids for projects in Everett, WA. The role involves managing all estimating processes, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and collaborating with the Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Field experience or technical background in industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, competitive bids for projects within the Industrial Group.
• Participate in all phases of the bidding process.
• Review project specifications and drawings to inform accurate estimates.

Skills

Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction industry practices

Familiarity with industrial piping, HVAC systems, and heavy equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and P&IDs

Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
