Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure peak performance of production infrastructure in our Illinois facility. You will proactively maintain complex machinery and rapidly resolve technical challenges in a high-output environment, supporting an uninterrupted production line.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maximize equipment reliability, adhere to safety standards, and uphold a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
• Experience with conveyors and automated machinery.
• Capable of diagnosing and servicing electrical systems up to 480V.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures.
• Analyze and resolve complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions to restore production flow quickly.
• Maintain high-voltage electrical systems, including motors, drives, and sophisticated I/O components, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
• Optimize the performance of material handling systems, such as conveyors, to ensure seamless product movement.
• Service a diverse array of production assets, including pumps, mixers, and automated packaging lines, to meet output targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production staff to identify and implement equipment reliability improvements.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support a culture of operational excellence.
