Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a skilled technician to install, bring up, and maintain industrial equipment in a satellite manufacturing environment at Redmond, WA. You will work alongside engineering and production teams to install and commission equipment, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure long-term reliability.

This role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and endurance for long shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, or 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Responsibilities

• Install industrial equipment and machinery with precision and adherence to specifications
• Diagnose and resolve issues during equipment setup and operation
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance to ensure long-term reliability and performance
• Oversee commissioning processes and provide troubleshooting support as needed
• Manage and maintain the workshop to ensure it is fully operational and organized
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of custom-built equipment
• Work closely with engineers to provide design feedback, assist with project execution, and support commissioning activities
• Provide mechanical support to production and development teams as required
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and meet Amazon driver eligibility criteria
• Lifting up to 49 pounds, standing for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequent pushing/pulling/bending/reaching
