Work involves preventative maintenance, equipment diagnostics, safety inspections, and collaboration with production teams to validate repairs before returning units to service. Prior experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of our production floor. You will utilize your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to troubleshoot complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, and optimize the performance of our advanced automation and injection molding equipment.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of our production floor. You will utilize your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to troubleshoot complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, and optimize the performance of our advanced automation and injection molding equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using advanced troubleshooting methodologies to minimize production downtime.
  • Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for robotics, material handling systems, and injection molding machinery.
  • Perform critical repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections of all facility equipment and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate operational risks.
  • Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately to maintain equipment history and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to test and validate equipment functionality following repairs before returning units to service.
  • Mentor and coach junior technical staff on best practices for equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of building systems and facility controls to support a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting injection molding machines, electronics, and robotics.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, safety protocols, and complex schematics.
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems involving multiple variables.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and kneeling.
Preferred Skills
  • Technical school certification or specialized vocational training.
  • Experience with ERP systems for maintenance tracking and documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and current tow motor (forklift) certification.
  • Proven ability to calculate ratios, proportions, and technical measurements accurately.
