Job summary

Reworld in the United States is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely process inbound materials and refuse using a range of industrial equipment. You will weigh, unpack and label containers, consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor and help maintain clean, compliant work areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year operating industrial equipment, and be able to work a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials, through safe operation of equipment (forklift, track hoe, skid steer, etc.).
• Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers as necessary.
• Consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor while safely operating equipment.
• Follow good housekeeping practices at all facilities and work areas.
• Exterior site maintenance tasks including litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention.
• Traffic control for incoming/outgoing traffic.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
