IntelliSource is hiring for a full-time Industrial Equipment Mechanic to join our partner's team for night shift. In this critical role, you ensure the continuous operation of our essential machinery, playing a vital part in our production success. You diagnose, repair, and maintain complex industrial equipment, keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently through the night. Your expertise directly impacts productivity, safety, and the overall reliability of our plant. Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs routine and scheduled Preventive Maintenance on all industrial equipment, identifying potential issues before they cause downtime.
  • Executes advanced Troubleshooting techniques to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions quickly and accurately.
  • Repairs and maintains intricate Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems, ensuring optimal fluid power and control.
  • Works on industrial Electrical Systems, including motors, controls, wiring, and sensors, to restore full functionality.
  • Conducts comprehensive Mechanical Repair, replacing worn components, rebuilding assemblies, and ensuring precision alignment.
  • Interprets and applies information from Blueprint Reading, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.
  • Utilizes a variety of Diagnostic Tools to pinpoint equipment failures and verify repairs.
  • Adheres strictly to all Safety Procedures and protocols, including implementing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
  • Prioritizes repair tasks and makes independent decisions regarding the most effective and efficient solutions for equipment issues.
  • Documents all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
Education
  • Holds a high school diploma or GED.
  • Completes a technical certification or associate's degree in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.
Experience
  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance or a similar role.
  • Demonstrates proven experience working independently or with minimal supervision during night shifts.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Applies strong knowledge of Preventive Maintenance strategies and best practices.
  • Excels in Troubleshooting complex industrial machinery across various systems.
  • Exhibits expertise in Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems, components, and repair.
  • Understands and works competently with industrial Electrical Systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and PLCs.
  • Performs skilled Mechanical Repair on components such as bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, and valves.
  • Reads and interprets technical documents, including Blueprint Reading, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
  • Proficiently uses Diagnostic Tools such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and vibration analysis equipment.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding and strict adherence to all Safety Procedures, especially Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Holds specific certifications in electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
  • Gains experience with specific types of manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging, CNC, heavy industrial).
  • Works in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
  • Lifts and moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Stands, walks, bends, kneels, climbs ladders, and works in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Works in an industrial environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust, chemicals, and fumes.
  • Works night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
  • Operates hand tools, power tools, and various maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
