Job summary

gpac is seeking a skilled Service Technician in Missouri to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment used in manufacturing. This hands-on role requires independent work and teamwork with a strong focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a Service Technician in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with hydraulic systems experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
• Communicate with team members and customers to provide status updates and technical support
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
